Our Applied Science Communication Research Group brings together science education and science communication research perspectives to critically engage with public engagement with science. We study issues such as:

  • How science education shapes public engagement with science
  • Inclusive communication strategies across language, ideology, and gender
  • How diverse audiences use AI-generated scientific information
  • Citizen science as an education tool
  • Training scientists for effective communication with diverse groups

The First Israeli Conference on Educational Research

The first Israeli Conference on Educational Research (ICER), taking place from September 15 to 17, 2025, was co-founded by Prof. Baram-Tsabari, who also served as the co-chair of the Organizing Committee for this landmark conference. This event established what will become a cornerstone bi-annual event for Israel's educational research community.
