Our community projects and events take place year-round and typically involve tens to hundreds of local families from surrounding neighborhoods, who come to learn, play and interact with science. Take a look at some of our activities!
Purim Fair, March 2024
Purim is a time for fun, and the perfect opportunity to revitalize the Geula neighborhood community center with a Purim fair! Our themed workshop focused on the link between science and magic: we taught kids to create a "magic box" that made their Michloach Manot disappear (and reappear, of course).

Jerusalem Day Science Demo, May 2023
Proving that science is a lot of fun, our team put together a magic show, and demonstrated how all the tricks really work. As you can see, the kids from Garein Torani were transfixed.

Science Day Activity, March 2022
What is innovation?
To quote Nobel prize-winner Albert Szent-Györgyi: "Discovery is simply seeing what everyone else has seen - but thinking what no-one else has thought." On national Science Day, our team developed an interactive game showcasing innovative Israeli products, and the scientific principles behind them. A total of 2000 participants took part, learning that the first step towards innovation is discovery!
