The Role Social Media Play in Science-Related Debates: Fluoridation of Drinking Water in Israel

The purpose of this research is to examine how a scientific public debate takes shape on social media, using the controversy over fluoridation of drinking water.

Our goal is to reveal the potential of social media in developing, sustaining, or potentially altering the understanding of a controversial scientific issue such as fluoridation.
