Roni Shapira
Roni Shapira is M.Sc. student at the Faculty of Education in Science & Technology at the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology. Her research focuses on the availability and the quality of online scientific information through top Google search results. In parallel with her research, she obtains a teaching certificate in chemistry through the Mabatim 2 program. Roni holds a B.Sc. in Biotechnology and Food engineering (2007, Technion – Israel Institute of Technology) and M.Sc. in Biochemistry, Food Science and Nutrition (2009, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem). Having worked for 12 years in the food and chemical industries in various capacities, she currently works as a Materials Development Engineer within the chemical industry.
