Congratulations to Yael Rozenblum, a doctoral student, for winning a short scientific mission travel scholarship from COST, a European academic cooperation organization that focuses on argument analysis and public policy. During her visit, Yael collaborated with Prof. Stavros Assimakopoulos from the Department of Linguistics at the University of Malta, and together they developed a discourse analysis tool. This tool is part of Yael’s research that aims to investigate the development of scientific literacy among the public and the media during the Corona pandemic, and as part of it, changes in the scientific vocabulary of the public and the media are analyzed in Ynet and Shabbat Square.סמינר יעל מלטה
