Inbal is a post-doctoral fellow in our research group. Her current research focuses on public engagement with science-related information through generative AI, exploring how laypeople use GenAI to learn about everyday social-scientific issues and how they use said information to form everyday decisions. Inbal is part of the ALIES research project, cooperating with our
German colleagues on local and international scholar endeavours.
Inbal holds a BA in communication studies from Sapir College (2007), and an MA (2011, com laude), in communication studies as well, from Ben Gurion University of the Negev. Her Ph.D., from Ben Gurion University of the Negev, explored how interactive visualizations are being used in journalism to mediate information.
