Julia Bronshtein

Julia is a Ph.D. student at the Faculty of Education in Science & Technology at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. Her Ph.D. research, under the supervision of Associate Professor Ayelet Baram-Tsabari, focuses on AI-supported evidence-based decision-making on science-related topics in daily life.
Julia obtained her B.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering from the Technion and worked as an Aerospace Engineer in the aerospace industry.

 

 

Her interest in science education led her to join the “Mabatim” program. She received another B.Sc. (cum laude) in Physics Education and M.Sc. in Education in Technology and Science from the Technion, under the supervision of Professor Orit Hazzan. Her research examined integrating outstanding students in practical engineering education in Israel.
Julia teaches Physics and Engineering as a lecturer at a technological college. She has also taught Science Communication as a teaching assistant at the Technion.
Julia’s popular science articles were published on Ynet and the Davidson Institute of Science Education website.
Julia lives in Ness Ziona with her spouse and four children.
